My paintings offer energy, movement and colour ranging from neoexpressionist abstracts to figuratives influenced by Basquiat. I'm inspired by the physicality of paint, and the exploration of colour and gesture. Intuition and emotion propel my gestural brushstrokes to embrace personal expression and explore the subjective, the emotions range from fun and celebratory to a rage against injustice.
